    Here within Anglian Water, we collaborate with a number of alliance partners to provide the best water recycling services across the region by maintaining our existing assets and undertaking new projects to safeguard future water recycling asset health.


    Playing a key part in our drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop are the Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance (IMR WRA) who are key to delivering sustainable solutions.


    Comprising of Anglian Water, Clancy , Claret Civil Engineering, Public Sewer Services and Danaher & Walsh, the IMR WRA manages planned and emergency sewer, rising mains and SMART technology installation as well as maintenance and repair across the region.


    With a large number of schemes and resources being used across the region to deliver the best possible service to our circa 7 million customers, it is critical we optimise direct labour employed to manage the workload across our region.

    To accurately achieve resource efficiency, we are looking for a Forecaster to join the team.

    What will you be doing as our new Forecaster?


    Understanding seasonal variance, you'll build models and understand the annual programme requirements to aid the delivery of efficient and timely programmes of work across the region.


    Working with a wide audience of stakeholders across Anglian Water and the alliance, you'll be a good collaborator who is detailed focused and able to model scenarios while working with ambiguity.


    Key responsibilities:
    Create useful insights into future workload volumes and type through predictive forecasting

    Identify and investigate any significant deviations or anomalies in work volumes and provide recommendations for adjustments to the forecast

    Develop and maintain documentation for forecasting methodologies, assumptions, and model enhancements

    Drive efficiency across the Alliance by working closely with FLMs, HR and Recruitment to optimise the number of teams employed with the volume of work

    Provide regular reports and updates to management and stakeholders on labour utilisation, forecast accuracy, and staffing efficiency

    Reduce waste by ensuring that the skills employed in the contract are best utilised and not under or over-employed to support work volumes

    Collaborate with Training and Development teams to enhance employee skills and competencies based on future labour demands

    A little bit about your skills and behaviours


    To join us in this key role, you'll have demonstratable experience of resource forecasting to compliment your proven experience of driving operational efficiency through effective forecasting.

    Experienced within a fast-moving operational environment, you'll be comfortable working with operational leaders and managers.


    Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload so that targets and deadlines are met to ensure efficient and effective support, you'll be confident in thinking in a strategic fashion to see the current and long- term picture.

    With your gravitas and being viewed as a forecasting subject matter expert you'll build strong relationships with numerous teams and be confident in providing sound and constructive feedback/challenge.
