This national Construction Contractor has a new opening for a Planning Lead to work on a number of projects in Central London, with the first being a £200m+ Hospital Redevelopment.

As the Lead Planner, your initial role will be to build the NEC programme from scratch, with the main works on the project starting later in the year. The role will then move into more of a strategic role and a pre construction position.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Producing tender programmes.
• Conducting regular site visits to assist the team with planning issues.
• Collating progress information and identifying areas of concern during the planning stage.
• Developing workable construction programmes and monitoring their progress.
• Providing advice and expertise across various projects.

This role is ideal for you as a Lead Planner if:

• You have construction planning experience within the contractor environment.
• You have a strong track record of working on large scale New Build & Refurb projects in the Healthcare sector.
• You are proficient in using Asta Powerproject.
• You have a solid understanding of NEC Form of Contract conditions and their implications on planning.
