Group Financial Accounting Manager

Location:
Nottingham (with hybrid working)

Salary:
up to £85K dependant on experience plus bonus


T2M Resourcing are delighted to be recruiting this key role; Group Financial Accounting Manager for an international market leading group of companies that are creating a new Group Reporting team.

Based in the Nottinghamshire (although with hybrid working)this international group is at an exciting period of change with new private equity investment.


Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and developing a small team, your remit will include re sponsibility for preparing and delivering consolidated financial reporting including:

  • Monthly management, cashflow, working capital, margin analysis, financial and board reporting.
  • Halfyearly and fullyear external reporting and results
  • Preparation of presentations for the audit & risk committee
  • Support the quarterly forecast, annual strategic planning and budget process
  • Management of all group finance data submissions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensuring that financial analysis and reporting are insightful, impactive and add value
  • Resolution of practical and technical accounting issues including an assessment of potential impact to the business
  • Responsible for the provision of financial support to the other internal and external stakeholders, including provision of information for decision making purposes.
  • Ad hoc internal and external financial reporting, analysis and modelling to analyse scenarios
  • Responsible for the group Accounting Procedures Manual, completing periodic updates to ensure documents and policies are fit for purpose. Implementation of new accounting policies as required.
  • Be the 'go to' person for the management team on technical accounting areas (including Directors)
  • Coaching/mentoring junior members of the financial team

To be successful in this Group Financial Accounting Manager role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Significant post qualified experience (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) working in a Group Accounting function of a multi-national business
  • Great technical accounting skills (IFRS) including group consolidations
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills able to identify and resolve problems
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and a 'positive change' agent
  • Great interpersonal skills the role requires relationship management across the business and with external stakeholders
  • Experience of managing and developing a small but highly skilled team
