Kennedys is looking to recruit a litigator to run a case of suspected fraudulent motor claims.


The role requires undertaking all aspects of investigation, analysis of the merits of the case, drafting pleadings and reporting to clients.

In addition, advising clients on technical and tactical aspects of litigation and the economic considerations. Defendant motor experience and /or experience of defending fraudulent claims will be an advantage but not essential. Litigation experience is essential.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering good client care, good results for clients and strong financial performance.

Team
Kennedys' Fraud Team advise on cross-client organised and complex fraud investigations.

The team's work includes managing and coordinating litigation, investigation strategies and individual interests for clients whilst working with industry bodies, such as the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB), regulators and the police.

The Fraud Team builds counter fraud strategies to detect and challenge fraudulent claims, ensuring best practice, effective process and measures to deter and prevent fraud.

  • Large composite Insurers
  • London Market Insurers
  • Selfinsured companies
  • EL/PL and motor insurers
  • Corporates
  • Transport operators and contractors

Cases

  • Suspected fraudulent claims and handling all aspects of motor claims.
  • Both prelitigation and litigated files.

Required experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience
- of handling own caseload of fast-track and multi-track insurance claims

  • E xperience of multitrack personal injury claims gained in the counter fraud team of a defendant personal injury law firm.* (We will consider those from a claimant background as well).
  • Exeprience of RTA claims
  • Proven track record in complying with clients' SLAs and MI completion
  • Meeting targets.
  • Experience of a broad range of insurnace claims (desirable not essential)
  • UK Qualified Solicitor, Foreign Qualified or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience (desirable not essential)
