Van Driver / Warehouse Operative

  • Location: Unit A, Colonnade Point, Prologis Park, Coventry CV6 4BX
  • Pay: £9.90ph, Paid Weekly
  • Hours: 37.5, Mon-Fri, 8am4pm
  • Contract Type: Temp to Perm

The role of Van Driver / Warehouse Operative:

  • Create and complete file/box orders for delivery and collection
  • Barcode files and boxes, and utilise barcoding & database systems according to agreed processes
  • Check electronic and manual records for accuracy and ensure any problems are reported promptly
  • Pack boxes and prepare and move pallets/cages
  • As directed assist with loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing boxes and files
  • Ensure any mechanical handling equipment is operated safely and securely
  • Maintain accurate records and logbooks as per Capita's instructions
  • Sort files and maintain accurate filing systems in line with agreed processes
  • Drive a van
  • Attend third party sites to collect/deliver files
  • Booking Courier collections/deliveries
  • Franking outgoing mail
  • Opening and sorting incoming mail
  • Scanning files
  • To ensure that all aspects of confidentiality are strictly observed
  • Ability to comply with Health & Safety instructions
  • Provide support as and when required to the Team Leader including any other tasks which will be in line with customer and business needs.
  • Ensure all responsibilities to be carried out in line with local and company guidelines.
