Payroll AssistantJob Type:
Part-time, Permanent
This part-time, permanent position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroller, potentially looking to reduce their hours while working with an established firm.
The ideal candidate will work 3 full days per week and will be an integral part of the payroll team.
Operate Monthly andWeekly Payroll:
Process both monthly and weekly payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Resolve Queries:
Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries, identifying and rectifying issues or escalating them as necessary
Manage Pay Components:
Handle additional payroll components such as overtime, bonuses, and deductions
Submit Final Payroll:
Prepare and submit final payroll calculations to clients for approval
Tax and NIC Payments:
Advise on or make payments to HMRC for tax and NICs.
Auto-Enrolment and Pensions:
Manage auto-enrolment and company pension contributions
Experience with payroll software and systems
Attention to Detail:
Must ensure accuracy in payroll calculations
Ability to Multi-Task:
Capable of managing payroll for multiple clients effectively
Comfortable Under Pressure:
Ability to maintain performance during peak times
