Supervisor, Highways x 2. Involving new work schemes, highway maintenance and repairs. Project values from £0.25 to £1.2m. Salary range £48-52k, plus van and fuel card, O/T available, 24 days holiday, 45 hours basic week. Waltham Forest.

• Minimum 5 years Highways schemes, and reinstatement supervisory experience.
• Water attenuation, high spec granite paving.
• Detailed knowledge of highway maintenance industry practice.
• Good knowledge of relevant reporting procedures.
• Exposure to high-paced environment

• Ensure compliance with Contractor Safety, Health and Environmental requirements and company procedures.
• Ensure Quality and Performance Standards.
• Effective planning and programming of the works.
• Ensure commercial success of projects supervised.
• Provide effective Team Leadership and Management.
• General Management Approach.

• Proven supervisory record with references.
• Independent, challenging mind with the ability to make decisions in a pragmatic and professional manner.

• IT Literate Word Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
• Operational technical Knowledge (eg. material types, plant)

• Reports to Contracts Manager. Liaises with Commercial team. Overseeing Operatives and Subcontractors.

Qualifications .

• SSSTS and CSCS essential.
• SWQR and First Aid desirable.
• Driving licence with 6 points or less.
• GCSE Maths and English.

Package .

• Salary range £48,000 to £52,000
• Working hours 45 per week with some overtime available
