Description

A Fire Safety Advisor is required for a small, dedicated management team, working closely with the Head of Estates within the Estates Department based at Stirling Community Hospital.

Reporting to the Head of Estates and in support of the Nominated Officer Fire and the General Managers; the post holder will ensure that the Board meets its statutory requirements in relation to Fire Safety.

The post holder will provide advice, direction, and comprehensive training to NHS Forth Valley (NHS FV), on all matters relating to the management of Fire Safety.

The Fire Safety Advisors will assist in the devising and implementation of strategy, policies, and guidance across the organisation, which meets the local and national objectives, whilst also interpreting and delivering on the requirements of current statutory obligations.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
