    The role and the school

    Our client is looking to recruit a SEN Teacher to join the school from September on a permanent basis. We are looking for staff with experience teaching national curriculum subjects such as English, Maths, or Science.


    This school caters for students with a range of special educational needs such as Autism (ASC) and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

    The school is welcoming, friendly, and supportive. Their vision is to improve education and life opportunities for all children and young people in Redbridge.


    The school offer a safe, secure learning environment and meet the daily pastoral and academic needs of all our pupils.

    As a SEN teacher you will be responsible for the below:

    • Planning and delivering lessons whilst assessing progress
    • Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions
    • Support behaviour by following the children's plans
    • Updating and setting targets for children.
    • Working alongside the SENCO and other professionals in the support network
    To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need:

    • QTS
    • Knowledge of, or previous experience working within complex needs or SEND
    • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
    • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
    • Legal right to work in the UK
