    Role: Integration Specialist

    Role Type: Temporary – End of Possible Extension

    Location: Luton – x3 days on-site / x2 Remote

    The Axial Integration Specialist / Analyst takes accountability to deliver a range of integration solutions on the Axial Programme. Reporting into the Integration Strategy and Execution Lead, the candidate will maintain end to end delivery responsibility from initiation to close, to deliver effective solutions that meet approved customer and business needs.

    The role is responsible for determining and delivering solutions to approved requirements, budget and schedule commitments whilst meeting required quality and compliance standards. Focus areas include stakeholder management, risk management and delivery of business benefit.

    This role is also required to follow established project management standards, agile methodologies and lead / contribute to continued development of the project / programme management capability and work in close collaboration with other workstreams of the programme and functions across the wider organisation.

    Candidate Focus & Challenge:

    The role requires a candidate who can provide a high degree of flexibility to support a complex, dynamic programme of work. Areas of focus include:

    Integration Impact Assessment:

    Supporting redesign and implementation of integrations impacted by the Axial programme scope. We'll look to you to manage the process of collecting and maintaining relevant data in a tool that will support the impact assessment and scoping of changes needed to the integration landscape.

    Collaborate with the programme solution design, data, and non-SAP remediation teams to understand the impact then coordinate across the programme to complete an impact assessment process. This will include agreeing estimates plans and managing dependencies, issues and risks.

    Integration delivery:

    During the deployment of the Axial programme, you will work with delivery and execution, monitoring and managing the delivery of changes across different delivery teams to a large number of Integrations. Monitor and manage dependencies, making sure issues and risks are raised to ensure the delivery to the overall programme timelines.

    Stakeholder Analysis, Change and Collaboration:

    Collaboration will be key to the success of the programme; therefore you will be expected to work and collaborate with a large range of partners, other areas of IT, business, and the Axial programme stakeholders. Actively build and maintain relationships according to individual needs and levels of influence.

    • Engage with Business Relationship Managers to develop and maintain the business relationship, support business process changes and act as point of contact for integration development.
    • Work with various levels of Business partners to ensure that solutions fulfil their future strategic needs and challenges.
    • Partner with Business customers to identify business requirements and effectively communicate impact, cost and benefits of new and changed demands.
    • Support Process owners to identify and devise solutions that optimise business process performance, capability and competitiveness.
    • Provide assurance, tracking and management of various integration delivery and support teams activities to transition requirement demands and ensure there is a clear understanding of configuration or development requests that are being made. Ensure that deliverables are aligned to agreed standards and best practices.
    • Alignment with IT Architecture, Delivery and Support to ensure clear understanding of requirements and effective testing so that the solutions delivered to the business are efficient and effective, meeting the customer experience expectations.

    Support continuous improvement:

    Provide input to continuous improvements of not just the technical solution but also the approach and ways of working in supporting integration across the programme and into "business as usual".

    Essential Skills

    • Strong business analysis / Integration experience
    • Professional experience in delivering integration across major programmes / projects and initiatives.
    • Experience in working with multi-functional, globally dispersed teams to deliver technology related business change projects/programmes.
    • SAP experience – SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
    • Experience of successfully using business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
    • Experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results
    • Engagement, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
    • Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
    • Experience of working with third party suppliers/vendors
    • Strong organisational skills, Strong Microsoft Office especially Excel.

    Desirable Skills

    • Experience designing and creating automatic dashboards, tools to keep an up-to-date inventory of integrations and delivery.
    • Proven track record of working proactively within a dynamic environment to remove ambiguity and providing clarity
    • Experience in JIRA, SharePoint, Power BI, Microsoft Office
    • S4/Hanna Experience
