    Responsibilities / Duties:

    Account Pricing


    • London Marine Treaty Pricing
    • Assist with modelling work performed by underwriters
    • Bermuda Specialty Treaty Pricing
    • Provide pricing support to Bermuda-based specialty & property teams
    • Zug Office pricing
    • Provide pricing support to Zug underwriting team. This covers Casualty, Property Catastrophe and Property Non-Catastrophe business
    • Support for Miami office pricing actuary at peak times
    • Support for Singapore office pricing actuaries as required
    Pricing development (Best practices)


    • Model development
    • Create enhance pricing models used in International Pricing, particularly in respect of Property, Casualty, Marine and Specialty lines
    • Parameter selection
    • Derivation of parameters by line territory
    • Pricing output
    • Completion and maintenance of pricing database for providing management information
    Qualifications


    • Student of Institute of Actuaries, or equivalent, with 4-8 exams
    • Non-life (re)insurance pricing experience essential
    • Strong Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) skills
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to work across multiple practice areas, and to short deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues in straightforward terms
    • Ability to prioritise efficiently
    • Willingness to travel, as required
