Client:


Abacus Group are recruiting for a Business Support Officer on behalf of an alternative credit provider who specialise in property backed lending to borrowers in the UK.

You will be joining a firm who have expanded rapidly over the past 3 years, you will be joining at an exciting time as they continue to expand with their announcement of a recent acquisition that will lead to very ambitious plans for Northern Ireland.

Role:

  • Assist with transaction and borrower research.
  • Help to prepare source of wealth documentation for internal signoff.
  • Assist with the drafting of credit papers that are clear and of a high standard.
  • Help to manage professional advisors, including brokers, solicitors, and valuers.
  • Prepare initial borrower files and maintain these appropriately
  • Work with Credit and Finance teams to fulfil postcompletion requirements, including issuing welcome letters.
  • Monitor and act on existing loan facilities within the portfolio, which may include smartsearching and issuing repayment reminders.
  • Ensure property insurance is correct and chase expiring insurance policies.
  • Process repaid loans, which may include requesting redemption statements, instructing solicitors, and arranging security release sign off

Requirements:


  • They will have at least a year of experience working in an office environment ideally in financial services with working in a lending environment.
