    • PreventativeMaintenance Servicing (carrying out routine servicing of equipmentin line with manufacturers guidelines, taking routine oil samples)75%
    • Machine Inspection (carry out visual /mechanical analysis of machine condition highlighting developingissues with systems and components including hydraulic, electrical,powertrain, mechanical) 20%
    • Minor Repairs(complete minor repairs as identified during machine inspection,carry out installation of telematic systems, carry outundercarriage inspections)5%

    Accountability

    Toattend customer locations as advised by controller, to carry outpreventive maintenance servicing. To liaise with servicecontroller and customer both at the outset and as workprogresses. To ensure that all work is carried out to highstandards and that equipment is safe before handing back tocustomer.

    Ensure equipment is serviced in line withmanufacturers recommendations and that all associated paperwork iscompleted accurately and in a timely manner including recordingcustomer signatures.

    Take proper care of company vehicle andequipment.

    Educationand Experience


    Either direct experience(around 3 years) or working in a related engineering function, mechanic, HGV fitter, former REME or experience on militaryvehicles such as recovery mechanic or a formal apprenticeshipqualification that includes at least C&G level 1, formaltraining in health & Safety desirable but not essential asfurther training will begiven.
