    Quantum Consulting have been engaged by a market leading and VC backed start up who have created a platform that is changing the way companies interact with their customers.

    They are seeking a talented Senior PHP Developer to join them on a 6 month basis (outside IR35) and will require someone to be in the London office 2 days per week.

    The ideal candidate will be customer focused and have experience working with a variety of tools and technologies, including PHP, Laravel, Postgres, Heroku hosting, React frontend, Redux and APIs.

    This role will involve working on a monolithic architecture, managing multiple environments, and utilising AWS S3 for storage. Knowledge of and TypeScript is a plus.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain backend functionalities using Laravel PHP framework.
    Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using with REST APIs to integrate external services and systems.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
    Deploy and manage applications on Heroku hosting platform.
    Utilize AWS S3 for storing and retrieving objects as needed.

    Writing unit testsSupporting QA Engineer's with automated regression packRequirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with Laravel framework.
    Solid understanding of frontend technologies, including and Redux.
    Experience working with databases, preferably Postgres.

    Familiarity with modern cloud hosted applications/DevOps with demonstrated experience on one of the big platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)Comfortable breaking complex software down into smaller tested manageable componentsExperience developing and maintaining software used by thousands of usersExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Strong communication and collaboration skills.
