- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals, adhering to established deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Utilize industry-leading software and methodologies to perform quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and risk assessments.
- Evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with each project, offering strategic recommendations to optimize outcomes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements to continuously improve estimation processes and enhance competitiveness.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to estimators, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
- Proven experience in facade estimation, with a minimum of 5years in a senior role.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, CostX) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes related to facades.
