    Job Summary

    The Role

    The Service User Involvement Practitioner champions service user involvement and co-production within the service. They will deliver groups and courses to those that use our services, as well as training to partner agencies. They will support with their Education, Training and Employment and line manage Peer Mentors.

    The Service User Involvement Practitioner will also hold a small caseload of people, delivering psychosocial interventions to support them to achieve their recovery goals.

    We are seeking committed, organised and highly motivated candidates, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues.

    The Service

    Launched in 2018, Via Merton is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions, operating from a main treatment hub, with additional satellites within the community. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Merton residents, irrespective of circumstance.
