    Summary

    As Catering Assistant, your core task is to provide excellent customer service, alongside assisting in the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals of the highest quality, using our fresh and sustainable ingredients.

    Package

    Firstly, we give our teams the time, freedom and tools they need to ensure pride in what they are doing each day This role is:

    • A 3 month Fixed Term Contract
    • Monday to Friday working - no more weekends
    • 10 hours working with no late nights
    • 38 working weeks per year based around term time (more time to spend with friends and family)
    • £11.44 per hour

    • A dedicated L&D team to support you in developing your skills including apprenticeships and training courses that are available for everyone.

    We expect all staff to share our commitment of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children/young people and an enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought by the company. Please also note, It may be necessary for this role to be removed before the closing date due to the volume of applications we receive.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Working as part of the team to create a fantastic dining experience for students and staff
    • Operating Tills (full training provided)
    • Ensuring a clean kitchen environment at all times
    • Adhering to all safety guidelines including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policy

    Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for somebody who shares our passion for maintaining the highest standards of food and service for our customers along with the following:

    • A friendly and versatile personality, with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment
    • Exceptional Customer Service skills
    • Previous catering experience
    • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices
    • Food Hygiene Level 2 (preferred, but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate)
