Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
Moneycorp's Risk & Compliance Monitoring Team have a great opportunity for a Compliance Officer - Monitoring & Testing to join their team based in Coventry, West Midlands.
The Risk and Compliance Monitoring Team is a Second Line of Defence function responsible for assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the arrangements and controls that the business has put in place to facilitate compliance with their regulatory obligations and manage their operational risks.
The service enables senior management to ensure that the entities:
- Comply with all relevant legislation, rules, regulations and codes of conduct;
- Safeguarding the reputation of the Moneycorp Group.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, manage, control, escalate and track as required to closure reporting to the relevant governance committees for visibility.
What we're looking for / Skills that will help you in the role
Knowledge and Experience:
- 5 Years proven track record in a Compliance Monitoring role, relating to regulatory risk.
- Knowledge of FCA Handbook, including SYSC, PRIN, Conduct Risk, CASS, BCOBS and DISP.
- Knowledge of requirements of ICO, JMLSG and GDPR would be advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of the UK payments and foreign exchange sector.
- Experience of working within a multinational group environment is preferred.
- Relevant industry qualifications, such as International Compliance Association (ICA) Diploma.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all business units and take a solutions orientated approach.
- Strategic and proactive thinker ability to see the big picture.
Please note:
This is a full-time, permanent position.
The role is expected to be office-based in Coventry, however, we have an agile flexible working policy which enables you to work up to 2 days from home if desired.
