As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to lead our Litigated Motor team in Liverpool.

Role Overview:

As the Team Leader, you will manage a team of individuals handling litigated motor claims. You will be responsible for ensuring high performance within the team, overseeing technical aspects of claims, and driving efficiency. This role offers a great opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

Lead and motivate a team of individuals at varying levels
Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support professional development.
Hold team meetings
121 performance reviews
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Technical:

Plan & distribute workload the team handles litigated RTA cases, small and fast track
Provide technical support and guidance to team members in order to assist them in reaching their full potential
Ensure compliance with legal procedures and best practices.
Stay uptodate with legal developments related to motor claims.
Provide guidance on complex cases and legal strategies.
Review files handled by team members to maintain quality standards.

Client Service:

Provide client briefs / updates
Manage client finances
Act as first point of contact for client complaints

Qualifications and Experience:

Strong knowledge of all stages of the litigated motor claims handling process
People orientated with a desire to help others as well as an ability to manage performance where required
Highly developed knowledge of processes, systems and procedures
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Able to initiate and maintain business relationships
Shows commercial awareness in understanding the market and industry
Proficient in MS Office (word and excel in particular) and experience of using a Case Management system.
