As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to lead our Litigated Motor team in Liverpool.
Role Overview:
As the Team Leader, you will manage a team of individuals handling litigated motor claims. You will be responsible for ensuring high performance within the team, overseeing technical aspects of claims, and driving efficiency. This role offers a great opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of individuals at varying levels
- Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support professional development.
- Hold team meetings
- 121 performance reviews
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Technical:
- Plan & distribute workload the team handles litigated RTA cases, small and fast track
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members in order to assist them in reaching their full potential
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and best practices.
- Stay uptodate with legal developments related to motor claims.
- Provide guidance on complex cases and legal strategies.
- Review files handled by team members to maintain quality standards.
Client Service:
- Provide client briefs / updates
- Manage client finances
- Act as first point of contact for client complaints
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of all stages of the litigated motor claims handling process
- People orientated with a desire to help others as well as an ability to manage performance where required
- Highly developed knowledge of processes, systems and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Able to initiate and maintain business relationships
- Shows commercial awareness in understanding the market and industry
- Proficient in MS Office (word and excel in particular) and experience of using a Case Management system.
