As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to lead our Litigated Motor team in Liverpool.


Role Overview:

As the Team Leader, you will manage a team of individuals handling litigated motor claims. You will be responsible for ensuring high performance within the team, overseeing technical aspects of claims, and driving efficiency. This role offers a great opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of our firm.


Key Responsibilities:


Team Management:


  • Lead and motivate a team of individuals at varying levels
  • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support professional development.
  • Hold team meetings
  • 121 performance reviews
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Technical:


  • Plan & distribute workload the team handles litigated RTA cases, small and fast track
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members in order to assist them in reaching their full potential
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and best practices.
  • Stay uptodate with legal developments related to motor claims.
  • Provide guidance on complex cases and legal strategies.
  • Review files handled by team members to maintain quality standards.

Client Service:


  • Provide client briefs / updates
  • Manage client finances
  • Act as first point of contact for client complaints

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Strong knowledge of all stages of the litigated motor claims handling process
  • People orientated with a desire to help others as well as an ability to manage performance where required
  • Highly developed knowledge of processes, systems and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Able to initiate and maintain business relationships
  • Shows commercial awareness in understanding the market and industry
  • Proficient in MS Office (word and excel in particular) and experience of using a Case Management system.
