The Company:


Nigel Wright are pleased to be supporting a successful manufacturing business with their search for a Production planner to complement the existing Supply Chain team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Production planner with knowledge of setting up the function to join a growing business with significant investment.


The Role:

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director this is a high profile role within the business


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the set up and maintenance of the production planning system
  • Develop and execute the production plan to deliver benchmark customer service whilst minimising inventory and costs
  • Measure and drive continuous improvement
  • Contribute to monthly S&OP process
  • Effectively communicate production plans with the production team and resolve any resulting issues or queries

The Person:


  • Experienced Production planner from a manufacturing environment
  • Data driven and analytical in approach
  • In depth knowledge of standard MRP/ERP functionality
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Experience setting up a planning function
  • Able to build relationships with key stakeholders
