Who Does This Role Report Into? Head of Procurement

Role Summary / Purpose and Scope
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Buyer to join our team, based in our London Office.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement this role will suit an established procurement professional who is looking to join a purpose-led business with a clear desire for change and impact.

You will be a conduit and connector across all departments such as Surveying, Facilities Management and Central Operations promoting procurement best practice and working collectively with your colleagues to deliver a truly sustainable and positively impactful business.

Skills, Knowledge and Values:

Skills (People & Technical)

Help drive procurement policy, strategy and processes
Coordinate the activities of the function to ensure the needs of the business are fully met
Manage approved supplier list
Oversee and manage the supplier onboarding process
Assist with the preparation of scopes and specifications
Manage tenders and assist with the tender programme in line with the needs of the business.
Conduct Supplier appointments including, Procurement route (client apt, single sourced, tender, etc.), Supplier selection and appointments, Prepare documentation (ITT, Cost Plans, Reports), Finalise Framework and Site Contract Orders (including variations) ready for approval.

Level of Experience / Certifications:

Essential to have CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply
5 years experience working in a Procurement Role preferably within Facility Management
Have supervisory experience within a procurement function
Experienced in tendering and procuring professional & consultancy services

Salary Range (Based on Experience)
£45,000 to £50,000 - dependent on experience
