Nexus Security Solutions Limited wish to employee two security systems engineers with experience in installing and maintaining access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems. This is a great opportunity for career progression within an extremely ambitious systems integrator working in the commercial space. The applicants will require a minimum of 5 years' experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems, and be customer focused with a fundemental desire to deliver a best in class product . The role will involve the successful delivery of project installations through the first fix, second fix and commissioning phases, ensuring that company standards are met or exceeded. There will also be a requirement to ensure maintenance and service call outs are completed on schedule, and to both the clients and the company satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Installation and configuration of Access Control, CCTV, and intruder alarms in commercial settings to meet quality standards including first fix cabling, second fix and terminations.
• System programming and commissioning capability preferable but not essential - training and development will be provided.
• Completion of commissioning documentation.
• Reporting to the engineering manager as required.
• Providing support to fellow engineers and trainees.
• Fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of security systems.
• Undertake regular training courses to further develop your skillset.

Qualifications

• Previously workd as a security systems engineer
• Experience in the Installations of Access Control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems
• Previous experience and training with products such as Gallagher, LenelS2, C-Cure, Brivo, Paxton, Avigilon, Milestone, Axis, Hanwha or similar.
• Technical knowledge of Security Systems and computers.
• Understanding of IP networks
• Good service and fault-finding abilities
• A systematic approach to tasks and problems
• A Full UK driving licence.
• Familiar with NSI standards
• BS7858 Security Screening
• Valid ECS Card
• Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
• Right to Work in the UK

Salary and Position Details:

• Up to £40K basic salary per annum (depending on experience).
• Travel paid over 45 mins both ways.
• Additional overtime pay.
• Additional standby pay of £200 per week
• Estimated OTE £55k-£60k per annum
