Description
As Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the development and execution of Mobile World Capital marketing strategies, with the aim of driving programmes to reach new users and increase awareness.
You design, implement and plan messaging, as well as developing and executing specific digital campaigns using digital channels (newsletters, blog, website and segmented mailing campaigns to reach target).
You are also responsible for community management; designing planning and executing strategy plans for social networks and programme communities, brand management and managing relationships with external marketing agencies and service providers.

We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Specialist, to support our industry-leading work primarily for the Mobile Money programme, bringing fresh ideas, new perspectives, and delivering to challenging and dynamic deadlines.
The role will sit in and work very closely with all colleagues of the Mobile for Development marketing team, managing all delivery for the Mobile Money programme, along with aspects of our Mobile for Development social media presence across platforms, developing regular digital communications, whilst also supporting content and event marketing production and activities.
This role reports to a Senior Marketing Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining all externalfacing collateral, including reports, videos, blogs, slideware and website content;
- Working with relevant internal stakeholders to create and execute against marketing plans for all external facing collateral;
- Acting as the primary liaison for external agencies and suppliers (video agencies, copyeditors, translators, designers etc);
- Managing the Mobile Money events process and coordinating the teams' activities across activities;
- Managing all marketing and promotional assets for Mobile Money events, for both internal and external audiences;
- Copyediting, proofreading and publishing blogs and resources;
- Writing copy and creating visual assets and graphics to promote all outputs from the programme;
