    As our business continues to grow, we have a strategic requirement to hire an Engineering Manager – New Build Conventional Island .

    The Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role for the formation, leadership and management of the engineering teams that will undertake Front End Engineering Delivery for NNB major programmes.

    Leadership of the engineering activities
    # Model Based System Engineering oversight and sign off
    # Programme monitoring and reporting
    # Management of Risk and Opportunity
    # Coaching and identifying training needs

    in leading and integration of multi-disciplinary design teams to define power station thermal cycle modelling outcomes and oversee work undertaken.

    to define budgets/work programs for complete design project lifecycles e.g. requirements capture, concept design and detailed design. ability in Front End Engineering solutions associated with New Build conventional Island understanding of relevant Regulations, ONR, Environment Agency and HSE of Requirements Capture/Elicitation/management Based System Engineering practitioner in managing sub-contracts and sub-contractors in a relevant discipline Clearance or capable of achieving it
    communication skills, written and oral leadership skills on delivering quality output to time and budget with integrity and instils this in others an appreciation of wider technical issues beyond own discipline to work with a high degree of independence, using their own initiative and self-motivation in a multi-party, multi-national environment
