Delivery Driver - _Furniture_

INTERVIEW AND START IMMEDIATELY_
- £25,200 + Overtime + £100 bonus monthly

  • Coventry base furthest drop
  • Cornwall to Newcastle-UponTyne
  • Salary based on 40 hours per week
  • Overtime will be paid
  • Need to be fit and able to lift items

Responsibilities:


  • Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers
  • Unload products from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

Requirements:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
  • Clean CRB
