    £48,349 to £54,395

    Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be partnering once again with The University of the West of Scotland. Due to an exciting promotion, we are now looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join their People and Wellbeing Team.

    The Senior HR Business Partner will lead on the delivery of a high quality, effective and efficient People Business Partnering function to the University. You will lead the HRBP's and HR Advisor team. The postholder will also provide specialist HR advice and guidance to the Department of People and Wellbeing and to the University, including to the most senior level in relation to operations matters such as case management, employment legislation ensuring equality and diversity in all aspects of the service.

    Key responsibilities

    Direct line management responsibility for the People Business Partnering team.

    Lead on the operational delivery of escalated employee relations issues.

    Establish and build strong strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.

    Continuously promote a high preforming culture with a focus on team collaboration.

    Work strategically and build relationships with key stakeholders.

    You will have the following

    Experience in leading and managing a team of strategic HR professionals.

    Experience of working with trade unions in a complex environment (sector experience is preferred but not essential)

    Effective relationship building skills.

    Project management experience.

    Operational HR experience – including complex case management.
