    The Athletic Training Department at Plymouth State University provides comprehensive medical care and sport coverage of Plymouth State Athletics, while providing a quality learning environment for Plymouth State Athletic Training students.

    The Athletic Training Department at Plymouth State University ( PSU ) invites applications for an Associate Athletic Trainer position.

    We seek a dynamic professional to assist in providing healthcare to athletes from 25 Division III athletic teams while acting as a Preceptor for students in our 3 plus 2 accredited Master's athletic training program.

    Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field and three years of experience as a college certified athletic trainer.

    • New Hampshire licensure by the State Office of Allied Health Professions or eligible for such licensure.
    • Three years experience providing medical coverage with collegiate football
    • Experience with updating and maintaining Athletic Training policies and procedures
    • Experience with ordering and maintaining athletic training room supplies/inventory/clean environment for 20-plus collegiate athletic programs
    • An understanding of relevant professional interests that enables diverse treatment and rehabilitation options.

    Provide comprehensive health care and clinical coverage of assigned teams, to include Emergency care/First aid/ CPR .

    • Educate athletes in regards to injury/nutrition/health/drug testing/skin issues.
    • Provide diverse treatment and rehabilitation options for student athletes.
    • Work in conjunction with team MD and/or other allied health professionals.
    • Organize and maintain athlete medical records (hard copy and electronically).
    • Update and maintain Athletic Training policies and procedures.
    • Order and maintain athletic training room supplies/inventory/clean environment for 20-plus collegiate athletic programs
    • Supervise Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers.
    • Preceptor for athletic training students.
