    Product Designer

    Location: Remote

    Duration: 6 months

    Day Rate: £300 - £350 per day

    May 2024 Start - a must (immediate start or 2 week notice)

    Overview:

    We are looking to speak to an experienced Product Designer contractor who may have had experience working in the transport industry specifically in the Cargo / airlines market. As a Product Designer for the tech sector, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience and visual aesthetics of their software products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with product managers to tackle a new aspect of our platform, focusing on pricing optimization for hospitality, particularly events.
    • Work closely with our team in a classic squad-based model, prioritising customer-centric solutions over pixel perfection.
    • Conduct research, onboard quickly, and take ownership of end-to-end design, encompassing UX and UI (excluding 'deep UI').
    • Ensure designs align with our engineering team and design system.
    • Utilise Figma for design work, adept at data visualisation, and proficient in complex web apps.

    Requirements:

    • Mid to senior level experience in product design.
    • Proficiency in Figma is crucial.
    • Experience with B2B Customer Research is highly desirable.
    • Comfortable working with numbers and data.
    • Background in revenue management or pricing is a plus.
    • Previous experience in airlines, cargo, or hospitality industries is advantageous.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and present design concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
    • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
