Description

Acorn is currently seeking a Plumber / Mechanical Supervisor to work within the Aneurin Bevan Health Board Hospital in the Torfaen area.

Job Summary:

To supervise and coordinate a group of multiskilled maintenance staff and other trades including maintenance assistants and apprentices
To be responsible for the effective planning and efficient use of labour
To be responsible for auditing completed PPM records, carried out by the staff
To allocate labour to the Works and Estate Response Desk, planned preventative maintenance, and/or minor works schemes
You will be involved in the successful resolution of complex faults on all types of building service systems and equipment
Must be computer literate
Must have mechanical/plumbing knowledge or experience
Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
Can work in an organised manner, be flexible in moving between tasks, and reprioritising workloads when needed
BMS Knowledge is desired but not essential

Pay rate:
- £16.13 per hour

Free parking onsite
Longterm temporary position

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am til 4pm
Additional hours may sometimes be necessary in certain circumstances due to service needs.
