HAYWARD HAWK are delighted to be working with a global accounting firm in their search for a Finance Assistant for their Belfast Office. This is a hybrid working opportunity, ideally working with 4 days in the office and 1 working from home.


The role:

You will join as Finance Assistant, working in a team of 6 across their Belfast and Dublin offices.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large and successful accounting firm as a Finance Assistant focusing on the internal finance for one of their consulting teams.


The Duties

  • Perform accounting and administration tasks
  • Record journal entries and daily bank transactions
  • Process payments, manage invoices, and work with banks
  • Utilize Excel and MS Office for tasks
  • Support Financial Team Manager in maintaining records and generating reports

The Person

  • Minimum of 18 months in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Admin role
  • Experience with accounting for VAT on receipts and payments
  • Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm
  • Tech savvy and the ability to adapt to new systems
