HAYWARD HAWK are delighted to be working with a global accounting firm in their search for a Finance Assistant for their Belfast Office. This is a hybrid working opportunity, ideally working with 4 days in the office and 1 working from home.
The role:
You will join as Finance Assistant, working in a team of 6 across their Belfast and Dublin offices.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large and successful accounting firm as a Finance Assistant focusing on the internal finance for one of their consulting teams.
The Duties
- Perform accounting and administration tasks
- Record journal entries and daily bank transactions
- Process payments, manage invoices, and work with banks
- Utilize Excel and MS Office for tasks
- Support Financial Team Manager in maintaining records and generating reports
The Person
- Minimum of 18 months in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Admin role
- Experience with accounting for VAT on receipts and payments
- Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm
- Tech savvy and the ability to adapt to new systems
