    Retail Media Optimisation Manager

    London (Hybrid Working)
    Permanent

    Grade 4

    We are investing in building our Retail Media capabilities and propositions, having launched Currys Connected Media and a range of propositions in the last year. The role of the Retail Media Campaign Optimisation Manager sits within our Currys Connected Media team. The purpose of the role is to optimise our campaigns and enable growth from our retail media activities and to deliver the strategy we have set out for Currys Connected Media.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Creation and maintenance of a model to optimise media income from supplier investment with a focus on maximising value from Currys' customer data
    • Supporting the Retail Media Managers in the creation of a brand level budget across all Retail Media channels. Work with Retail Media Project Manager to identify necessary infrastructure (people/process/technology) to meet budgets
    • Providing inventory availability data and planning support to Retail Media Managers
    • Identifying new media sales opportunities from supplier brands direct/via commercial team and via brand media agencies
    • Work with Retail Media team to create, own, plan and manage roadmap of initiatives and continuous improvements. To include both short term activities and 3YP strategic view
    • Accountable for the build and execution of internal campaigns online and in-store ensuring that guidelines and standards are adhered to and campaign KPIs are met
    • Provide in-campaign reporting to identify risks and opportunities to the plan
    • Support the Retail Media Managers in ensuring that key 3rd party delivery teams are meeting and exceeding targets
    • Responsible for day-to-day and end of campaign reporting of performance and opportunity to the Retail Media team to support analysis and re-booking
    • Support the periodic re-forecasting, working with Retail Media team and finance business partners to ensure accuracy and simplicity of communication
    • Provide post-sales support to internal and external stakeholders including commercial teams and brand advertisers across campaign performance and campaign delivery KPIs

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Working within marketing teams in outward / brand facing role
    • Experience working with site analytics and attribution tools
    • Experience with Google Ad Manager managing media budgets
    • Working in x-functional team and liaison with many other teams e.g. legal, infosec, online, commercial, 3rd parties etc
    • Ideally experience in retail media campaign management
    • Good problem solver with a flexible attitude and the ability to perform under pressure
    • Strong relationship building skills
    • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to relate results to client business objectives
    • Strong business acumen and account management skills with good client facing skills
    • Excellent communication skills in all disciplines including written, oral, email and presentation
