Purpose of Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Gas Responsible Person to join our FDIS Compliance Team on a mobile basis across our South East MOD Estate.
Job Description
The Gas Responsible Person will ensure Gas Safety and Compliance and DIO Gas Safety are complied with in all activities undertaken across the sites.
Responsibilities
Implementation and operation of gas safety in area of responsibility.
- Assess the competence of Gas Skilled Persons for appointment and review experience and performance.
- Write and maintain Gas Safety Management Plans
- Investigate all reported gas incidents in full, completing detailed reports and putting in place corrective actions when required to mitigate future incidents.
- Carry out audits of gas safety processes and procedures.
- Provide professional and technical support, and advice, where required to maintenance and project teams, DIO, and end users.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
Formal commercial gas qualification or equivalent (eg CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, and CPA1 with significant experience within the gas industry)
- LPG qualifications (desirable.)
- Management level qualification in H&S and Environment (, SMSTS)
- Strong IT Skills
