Reed Practice East Anglia have been engaged by the business owners of a leading Chartered Certified Accountancy firm in the Colchester area to recruit a Senior Auditor.

The firm have been established for over three decades and have built an enviable reputation in the market. They have created a positive and encouraging working environment, keen to develop their staff through maximising their potential.

This post has been created due to the expansion of the firm who have enjoyed a minimum 10% growth year on year.

Supporting the management team in the Corporate Department the post will involve:

Audit; up to 40% of your time will be spent auditing a range of clients up to £100m t/o, all within 20 miles of the office so you won't spend considerable time travelling
Preparation of Yearend Accounts
Business Tax calculations
Completion of VAT Returns
Management accounts preparation

Due to the nature of the work and level of role, you will be either part way through your studies looking to continue with a supportive firm, or qualified looking for an opportunity to join a thriving business.

You will need good knowledge of Iris and Mercia or other accounting software and have effective client facing skills
