We are currently recruiting for a New Business Advisor on behalf of our client, based in Hedge End.

Our client is a leading specialist insurance broker providing commercial and personal customers with a range of services to meet individual needs.

This is a permanent full-time role, with an opportunity for a career progression with generous commission and bonus schemes. The role involves dealing with new commercial and non-standard inquiries, managing client accounts and does not include cold calling. Free onsite parking is provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Obtaining relevant risk information, providing quotes, and converting opportunities.
Dealing with 'hot' inquiries from existing customers via inbound and outbound calls; no cold calling.
Dealing directly with clientele to obtain terms, build relationships and negotiate premiums.
Building new and managing existing relationships with our advisors from company partners.
Management of own client accounts from inception to renewal, including binding new cover, midterm alterations and general queries.
Ongoing sales and product training provided.
Support in progression with industry qualifications.

About You:

Experience in sales, ideally within the commercial insurance market.
Experience in an administrative environment.
Strong and confident communication skills.
Confident telephone skills and an active listener; able to control the call in a professional and assertive manner.
Excellent team player.
Organised and highly motivated; can be responsible for own workload.
Positive approach to dealing with new inquiries in a timely fashion, with a cando attitude.
Recognising and dealing with opportunities in a manner that always strives for success.
