Role: Cyber Security Engineer

Location: London

Salary: £75,000+

Locke & McCloud are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer on behalf of a global law firm. The successful individual will contribute to global IT security and work closely with the security team globally. This firm is looking to expand over the next few years and is investing heavily in security technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the implementation of the firm's security architecture in the transition to cloud services such as Azure, Teams/O365.
• Responds to information security incidents within the organisation's digital environment.
• Manages DLP systems and processes, and develops metrics for evaluating DLP solution effectiveness.
• Ensures that change controls are complied with and effectively communicated to the partners and all staff at the firm.
• Manages and supports projects as directed by the Global CISO.
• Develops security policies to meet client or other compliance requirements.
• Plan for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.

About you:

• 5 years of experience in an Information Security team.
• Excellent knowledge of the ISO 27002 standard.
• Excellent knowledge of a network/firewall security preferred
• Good knowledge of Disaster Recovery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills to identify and resolve security risks effectively.
