About Our Client:
The client we are recruiting for is an international competitor within the logistics and distribution industry.
Sourcing and operating on a global scale, the client has undergone a period of substantial growth to suitably meet client and consumer needs, predominantly within the construction and manufacturing sector.
Their clientele portfolio is full of many of the UK's and Europe's most well-known blue chip brands along with many other UK SME's, whilst striving to deliver an outstanding service through working together with our customers to provide tailored solutions to their transport needs.
Core responsibilities as such include:
- Upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure clientside timely payment.
- Responding to client queries & debt limits.
- Monitoring debtor account balances.
- Liaising with the administrative office and other departments whilst providing support.
- Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time.
- Liaising with Solicitors and Bailiffs.
- Maintaining accurate records & billing information.
The Successful Applicant:
- A level of experience/familiarity with credit control.
- Ability to work with and within a team as well as independently.
- Good understanding of the legal complexities of loans, payment plans, and interest rates.
- Proficient in Accounting and Office software.
- Ability to reconcile complex debtor accounts.
- Qualified by experience or qualification.
- System experience.
- CSR/GDPR familiarity and compliance.
- Able communication skills.
- The ability to solve and deal with varied problems.
