    Pro currently has an exciting opportunity for Technical Analysts to be part of our Insurance Services team in the Delegated Bordereaux area. The job holder will be required to meet service levels, deliverables and deadlines for the timely processing of risk and premium bordereaux.

    This role is on a hybrid basis working from a London (city) office and at home.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Be a subject matter expert on all bordereaux related processes, procedures, requirements and scope where authority has been delegated.
    • Act as a key contact to resolve issues that prevent the processing of Bordereaux into our bordereaux processing system, no matter where the query is coming from.
    • Effectively track bordereaux, ensuring uploads are up to date and outstanding bordereaux is retrieved in a timely fashion.
    • Responsible for the resolution/escalation of any issues with the appropriate Underwriter, Broker, TPA or Coverholder to ensure all binder terms are met, and data quality standards are adhered to.
    • Ensure clear and concise communication is maintained with Underwriting units.
    • Endeavour to provide accurate, complete and appropriate data at all times.
    • Help peer review new contracts within our bordereaux processing system.
    • Assist in the preparation, development and deployment of adequate reports and reporting.
    • Ensure the correct validation rules are applied to the mapping template to support data enrichment, consistency and identifying contract breaches.
    • Ensure process and training documentation in relation to Bordereaux Management Procedures is kept up to date.
    • Take ownership of the ELTO workflow, liaise with the compliance team, be responsible for maintaining the cases within it.
    • Any other activities as seen as reasonable to fulfil this role.

    Skills and Experience

    • Strong technical skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
    • Understanding of principles of insurance and reinsurance is essential.
    • Experience of working for organisations in the insurance sector.
    • Good understanding of London market systems and procedures is desirable but not essential.
    • Good knowledge of Excel & IT to assist in data management.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people face to face.
    • Good written communication skills to write and respond to emails and other written correspondence.
    • Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.
    • Demonstrate a high level of problem solving and eye for detail.
    • Experience in BDX (preferred), Intrali or DDM bordereaux processing, including data validation and analysis
    • Proficient in map creation using BDX (preferred), Intrali or DDM to produce detailed maps for capturing data advantageous
    • Proficient in handling bordereaux data, including data cleansing and reconciliation processes.
