Salary: £95-105

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a school in EYFS team with a specialization in supporting children with autism. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping this student thrive academically and socially. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on a child's education and have experience working with children with autism, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to the autistic student, adapting teaching strategies to meet their specific needs.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe and valued.
Monitor and assess the progress of the autistic child, reporting findings to the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) and parents as required.
Collaborate with the SENCo, teachers, and other staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Support the student's social and emotional development, helping them build positive relationships with peers.
Ensure a safe and orderly classroom environment.

Requirements:

Experience working with autistic children is essential.
A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to the welfare and progress of the student.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
