My client is seeking a passionate Menu Designer to join their team at a Lebanese restaurant located in central London. This role involves creating a new menu for the establishment, capturing the essence of Lebanese cuisine and enticing customers with a delightful selection of dishes.

This is a 10-hour shift, whereby you will have the flexibility in choosing a workspace, whether it be at the restaurant, at home, or in a local café. If you choose to work at the restaurant, you will have the opportunity to mingle with their friendly and passionate staff and have the chance to try their incredible dishes.

Responsibilities:

• Spend 2-3 hours at the restaurant with the chefs to understand the specifications of each dish.
• Compile the gathered information into a 10-15 page brochure.
• Utilise provided images to enhance the visual appeal of the menu.
• Demonstrate a genuine appreciation for Lebanese cuisine and an eagerness to showcase its flavours and diversity.
• Exercise flexibility in choosing a workspace, whether it be at the restaurant, at home, or in a local café.

Requirements

• Proven experience in menu writing or a related field is essential.
• A love for Lebanese food and a deep understanding of its ingredients and flavors.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately capture culinary specifications.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
