Emtec Facility Services are on the lookout for
Contracts Supervisor to join the team based at our HQ in Uddingston with time also being spent out and about visiting sites across Scotland.


The Role

  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures and practices are maintained on all Contracts and follow Company Procedures.
  • Ensure that operations, planned preventative repairs, and small works are carried out safely, efficiently and cost effectively.
  • Stay updated with industry practices to ensure existing systems are in line with current developments.
  • Attend client meetings with Owners, FM's, Consultants, Managing Agents.
  • Conduct site inductions as requested by clients.
  • Carry out toolbox talks, Site and logbook audits, and review engineer reports and timesheets.
  • Monitor the quality and safety practices of operatives and subcontractors.
  • Conduct site surveys and produce defect reports as needed.
  • Liaise with the Contract Manager, Contract Administrator, Helpdesk, and engineers.
  • Perform Appraisals for engineers in your remit as well as planning workloads and resolving Labour resource issues.
  • Maintain close working relationship with clients.
  • Produce quotations for defects or at the request of the client.
  • Develop, motivate, and provide training for engineers under your remit.
  • Assist the helpdesk in overcoming resource and technical issues.

What you will need to succeed

  • Experience working in a building facilities service environment.
  • Capable of working with minimum supervision and can manage own time and priorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communications and organisational skills
- strong decision making and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook
  • Full UK Driving Licence

It would be great if you

  • Are a multiskilled Engineer.
  • Have experience in people and subcontractor management.
  • Are comfortable attending client meetings.
