Description
We are looking for a Welfare Support Team Member to join our friendly welfare team who provide care, support and respond to emergencies for our almshouse residents in line with the Health & Social Care Act and CQC requirements.
You will be welcomed into our small, close-knit community by our Welfare Manager and Welfare team members. The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same.However, as a general guide, duties may include some support with personal care needs, medication, food and drink, as well as helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support health and wellbeing, such as arts and crafts, gardening and social occasions.
The position is up to full time and permanent. Hours are fully flexible to suit your needs, however, the position is to cover weekday and weekend duties.Applicants should ideally have or be working towards a diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification. Please note that all of our positions require an Enhanced DBS check in relation to Children and Adults.
