Senior Financial Adviser - Competitive Salary Up to £150k with Hybrid Work Options and Equity Opportunities

My client is a prestigious independent wealth planning firm near Tunbridge Wells, who we've fostered a close working relationship over the years. This firm offers an extensive array of financial advisory services across various domains, including Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, Trusts, Wills, Inheritance Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney, Mortgages, and Protection.

The Managing Director, a prominent figure in the financial planning industry, brings extensive expertise from his successful career, having established, and run thriving businesses. Known for generating over £1 million in annual revenue as a leading adviser at one of the UK's largest wealth management companies, he remains actively engaged in managing high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients while also guiding the next generation of advisers. This firm is committed to independence, with no intention of being acquired, and enjoys steady growth fuelled by client referrals and recommendations.

The Managing Director is creating a new role for an experienced Senior Financial Adviser to head the financial planning department, overseeing its operations and development. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong track record in business development, and a client-centric approach grounded in honesty and integrity.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to engage with the existing client base, building relationships and driving new business through networking and referrals. This role requires a Level 4 Diploma in financial planning, with Chartered status as a plus, though not essential. Further opportunities for growth are available through planned acquisitions and client portfolio expansion.

The salary range for this position is between £100,000 and £150,000, with additional performance-based bonuses and ongoing fees over time. The firm also offers a staff equity program, providing the potential for uncapped earnings. Realistic on-target earnings (OTE) could reach £200,000 within the first 18 months, with the flexibility to work from home after an initial period of office-based familiarisation.

If this exciting career opportunity appeals to you, with the added benefit of acquiring an ownership stake in a renowned boutique business, please contact Jo at Financial Divisions for more information at
