We are recruiting a
Painter to join our team at our Head Office in
Hebburn The successful individual will play a vital role in the HCMUK manufacturing process by ensuring the proper preparation of paint to heavy plant machinery.

Responsibilities:


  • Inspect surfaces for defects and imperfections, addressing any issues before painting.
  • Accurately select, match and mix paint colours.
  • Monitor paint thickness and coverage, making adjustments to achieve desired results.
  • Follow processes and specifications to ensure consistency and quality in final product.
  • Conduct quality inspections of painted machines to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Set up painting equipment.
  • Clean and maintain paint spraying equipment and tools to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain inventory and stock levels of paint equipment to prevent shortages or delays.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Essential_
  • Previous experience in similar role, for a minimum of 2+ years.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills, be a forward thinker with the capability to plan ahead.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet and resolve issues.
  • Preferred_
  • Experience of working in the manufacturing or related industries.
  • Ability to provide assistance and support to colleagues, demonstrating a handson approach with an aptitude to effectively organise and prioritise workloads.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in preparation and spray painting.
