    Region: UK focused but with occasional support of international plans.

    Location: Childs Farm, Basingstoke. Hybrid working

    Reporting Manager: Brand Manager

    Position Overview / Purpose:

    Come and join the Marketing team at Childs Farm in the role of Marketing Executive. As a critical part of our small team, you'll get the chance to develop your marketing skills by getting involved in many aspects of a full marketing mix plan. From assisting with the launch of category defining innovations and managing our events from end to end, through to working with our PR and social agencies – we are looking for someone to help us to build our brand.

    Responsibilities:

    These are the main requirements of the role and is not an exhaustive list of duties. It is intended to reflect the nature, range, and context of the work, which will change over time.

    • Event Lead: organise and manage our events such as Baby Shows from end to end including tight budget management and working closely with our events agency.
    • Social Media & Affiliate Management: content creation for our organic TikTok channel, ensuring we have a regular stream of relevant content as well as creating weekly Instagram stories. Managing our online affiliates program ensuring sign off affiliates as well as managing and reporting back results.
    • Copywriting: bringing the brand TOV to life by delivering consistent brand copy for website and email.
    • Community Management: main point of contact for our community management across all social channels, ensuring our consumers are given the best possible experience.
    • Brand Ambassadors: create and manage the strategy for our group of Brand Ambassadors, whilst helping our lead Brand Ambassador to manage the day to day running of the group
    • Digital Shelf: work with our online platform to ensure that all content is up to date across all of our online retailer.
    • Charity Partnership Lead: helping to bring our charity business partnership to life internally and externally.
    • PR: assist our Marketing Manager with the day-to-day management of our PR agency, including helping to organise and manage journalist & influencer events.

    Ways of working:

    • Be an ambassador for the business: Always represent the business and the brand to the highest standard, whether this is with agencies, suppliers or any other external third party you have contact with.
    • Cross-functional working: This is crucial in a small business. Work closely with Supply Chain and Finance to ensure stock is ordered correctly for events and the sample order process is followed. Ensure our design team is briefed with plenty of time for any new assets and sign off takes place with the wider team.
    • Great communicator: Again, this is key in a small business. Ensure an open line of communication with the wider Marketing team and the business.
    • Get stuck in: Flex day-to-day focus and be willing to support the Marketing team and wider business – sleeves rolled up will be the norm Assist with projects as and when required and see every opportunity as a learning opportunity. Contribute positively to our culture with positivity and a sense of humour.

    Person Specification:

    You'll be eager to learn, organised and a real team player. You'll be keen to work alongside a team of passionate experts and are willing to take every opportunity to learn something new.

    • Keen early entry marketeer with a passion for Health and Beauty, Wellness or Lifestyle industries
    • Strong oral and written communications skills, keen to engage and understand our consumer
    • Sense of ownership with the ability to ask for help where required, accepts accountability
    • 'Can do' and sleeves rolled up attitude, prepared to take on a varied role
    • Creativity – enjoys coming up with new ideas and testing things
    • Effective collaborator, able to assist the wider marketing team, sometimes with short notice
    • High standards of attention to details and organisation
    • Resilient and persistent in the face of ambiguity and dynamic work conditions
    • A sense of humour and a general drive to just get things done
