    Employee Relations Consultant

    Glasgow – Hybrid

    6 month FTC

    £50,000 FTE

    Meraki Talent is partnered with a leading financial services firm based in Glasgow to appoint an employee relations consultant on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This opportunity will offer a salary of £50,000 FTE and a hybrid working model.

    The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering positive employee relations and promoting a harmonious work environment. As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will play a critical role in managing employee grievances, mediating disputes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
    • Investigate employee complaints and grievances, conducting thorough and impartial investigations as needed.
    • Mediate disputes between employees and/or between employees and management to achieve mutually satisfactory resolutions.
    • Advise managers on disciplinary actions, terminations, and other employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations.
    • Develop and implement employee relations strategies and initiatives to promote a positive work culture and enhance employee engagement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
    • Experience in employee relations or a related HR role.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
