Team Leader South Warwickshire Mental Health Support Team - Band 7

Full time, permanent role


We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Team Leader, with experience of working with children, young people, and families.

You will have excellent leadership and management skills and be from a profession that is registered with a professional body such as NMC/HCPC/BABCP.

You will be able to support and promote evidence-based practice and have a strong understanding and passion for early intervention and prevention.

The role will be based within our Mental Health Support Team in Schools, which was part of a successful trailblazer program stemming from the Green Paper Transforming Children and Young People's Mental Health Provision 2017.

The post holders will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the locality, including patient and service activity, quality, finance, and staffing matters.

We currently have 6 Teams across Coventry and Warwickshire, consisting of a range of professionals including Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses and Education Mental Health Practitioners all delivering evidence-based interventions using a stepped approach model and the whole school approach.

If you're successfulyou will receive regular management and clinical supervision, an annual appraisal and fantastic training opportunities within the Trust, universities, and the local authorities.

We are part of the CYP IAPT initiative and work in partnership with the Reading CYP-IAPT collaborative where we have ongoing opportunities for further study such as the postgraduate Certificate in low intensity CBT informed supervision and leadership course.
