We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced
Senior Food Beverage Supervisor to join the K Bar team at the University of Kent.
Located at the heart of the university campus, K Bar is a vibrant and bustling hub where students come together to unwind, socialise, and create lasting memories.
With its inviting ambience and friendly atmosphere, the campus bar serves as a social epicentre for students from all walks of life.
The bar offers an impressive selection of beverages, including signature cocktails, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring there's something for everyone's taste.
Beyond its drink offerings, K Bar hosts various events and activities catering to diverse interests.
From live music performances and trivia nights to themed parties and karaoke sessions, something exciting is always happening at the bar.
As the

What will you be doing?
As the Senior Food Beverage Supervisor, you will assist the Food and Beverage Manager in the day-to-day running of the bar.
You will be required to:
- Oversee, train, and guide the frontofhouse team, leading by example.
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels.
- Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in creating and implementing innovative drink menus and special promotions.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Experience in supervising bar and catering staff in a highvolume environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexibly
- Health and safety/risk assessment knowledge
- Experience in creating rotas and organising work schedules
- Knowledge and experience of EPOS and stock management systems
