Primary teaching assistant


Now Education are currently looking to appoint teaching assistants to work with the schools we work alongside around the Sandwell area.

The roles available include general teaching assistant roles and also SEN 1:1/small group roles. Applicants to the roles should be enthusiastic, flexible and able to meet the needs of the children.


Job specifications

  • The working hours for the teaching assistant roles would be from 8.30am 3.30pm.
  • Support the class teacher in the preparation and also the delivery of the lessons/interventions for the day.
  • Assist in dealing with any behavioural difficulties that may occur around the classroom.
  • Now Education offer competitive pay rates
  • We work with supportive schools who will assist in your development within the class room.
  • A dedicated team in place who work specifically in the area of the schools that they supply for.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
£70.00-£80.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sandwell: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • QTS (preferred)
