    Assistant Town Planner

    Bishop's Stortford

    £30,000 - £38,000 plus package

    I've got a fantastic opportunity for you to join my clients team working at their office near Bishop's Stortford. This is your chance to work for an industry-leading housebuilder, who create stunning developments with a true passion for beautiful houses.     This role comes with a competitive salary of up to £38,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package, along with the potential for huge career growth and progression You will play a fundamental role in assisting with the design and planning of the regions gorgeous residential developments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders and community groups.
    • Formulating and presenting planning applications, with ongoing communication with regulatory bodies.
    • Assessing and proposing resolutions for intricate planning and zoning issues.
    • Sustaining a commitment to ongoing research, keeping up to date with local, regional, and national planning regulations and industry best practices.
    • Develop a deep understanding of development opportunities and competitor activities.
    • You will work closely with other departments such as the land and technical teams in carrying out your duties
    • Provide sound planning advice to other areas of the business.

    Requirements:

    • Degree qualified, MRTPI
    • Planning Degree or relevant experience in the industry (at a local authority, consultancy or developer)
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Enthusiastic, proactive and driven to succeed
