    1 x Learning and Development Manager (Full-time, permanent)

    Location: Coventry/Hybrid - Network Role

    Shift: Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week

    Position Summary:

    To have a direct impact on the growth of MBUKIE by delivering the centrally agreed Learning and Development strategy and curriculum. To work collaboratively with Technical/Operational Leads to understand and shape all technical/core/mandatory training offerings across all Distribution Centres across the network. To support career development for all colleagues enabling them to reach their full potential. Be accountable for the successful delivery of all 'People First' initiatives within the Global HR Calendar, such as mandatory training and talent management processes. Own the planning, creation and delivery of learning interventions for both Corporate and Operational teams across the network, in partnership with third parties and the wider HR team.

    Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

    • Design and deliver a range of learning interventions, including technical, behavioural and Leadership Programmes
    • Maintain appropriate records to allow tracking and evidence of training interventions
    • Recognise the need to meet compliance obligations and strive to highlight the 'why' to others
    • Meet and exceed against defined learning KPIs (including Evaluation, Budget, vendor relationships)
    • Lead on design and delivery of a Company wide 'corporate' induction programme, to ensure all new recruits to MBUK & IE have the best possible onboarding experience
    • Play a key role in the apprenticeship programme / management of Levy
    • Work to increase the confidence and Capability of Line Managers regarding coaching their teams to increase both engagement and productivity
    • Drive a culture of continuous professional development (CPD) by ensuring the learning environment and resources support learner needs; thus, increasing engagement, improve learning rates and grow L&D's reputation
    • Bring to life the DEI strategy both in day-to-day interactions and 'classroom' delivery by maintaining an inclusive atmosphere that enhances belonging
    • Accountable for the i-learn delivery suite in Coventry ensuring its is fit for purpose and is an attractive and conducive learning environment for colleagues to enjoy

    Profile:

    • Confident and credible facilitator on both technical & leadership subject matters
    • Technical training design experience
    • Excellent relationship building skills with colleagues in all roles across the organisation
    • Successful communication skills (written, oral) with the ability to simplify the technical to ensure embedding of learning
    • Excellent planning/organisation and time management
    • Passionate desire to support others developing their skills, knowledge, and capability in role
    • Creative mindset ensuring that learning speaks to all individuals' learning styles
    • Self-starter, who can 'run' with an idea and ensure successful implementation
    • Network based role which will involve frequent travel to all 5 Distribution Centres in the UK & Ireland

    Technical Competencies:

    • Strong IT skills - (will become 'super-user' of global LM system)
    • Knowledge of Supply Chain/Distribution environments – beneficial
    • Strong commercial acumen and experience in applying outside of learning
